At Clothes Relief, we know that integrity and safety are important to you. Our collection process is designed with transparency in mind, so you can be confident that your donations are going where you intend them to be.
Our collaborative relationship with our many charitable partners means we always have the appropriate permissions to represent them and collect on their behalf. The designated charity will always be clearly indicated on the donation bags we provide along with their charitable number and a contact number.
We work with local councils to obtain the proper permits for collecting in your area. Our drivers are thoroughly vetted and will always carry official identification, and our collectors wear a Clothes Relief Uniform, and drive a clearly marked van. We work hard to ensure our presence in your community is a welcome one.
Our collections run from hours to hours on the designated pickup days. You’ll be able to see your pickup day printed on the contribution bag. Please be sure to set the bag outside in sight of the road, and have it outside by time. We don’t want to miss your contribution!
Clothes Relief’s collectors are great people who are committed to our mission of social and environmental responsibility. How can you spot one of our collectors? They’ll arrive in clearly marked Clothes Relief vans, they’ll carry official identification and documentation containing the charity number and they’ll wear an official Clothes Relief uniform. If you would like to verify the legitimacy of one of our drivers, we welcome your call! All our drivers will welcome the chance to provide you with the information needed to check his or her collection schedule. Additionally, you can contact your local licensing department to ensure the collector has permissions from the local authority.
